Life Style Sports has confirmed that the leading sports retailer sold its final Iceland jersey just after 10am on Tuesday morning.
Irish fans are returning home in their droves and we now have a new bandwagon, with a lot of supporters simply replacing the ‘r’ on their banners with a ‘c’, and will be supporting Iceland as they take on the home nation this weekend.
The blue jersey with red stripe, which had an RRP of €75, is so far the fourth highest selling ‘other’ jersey (excluding Ireland) of the tournament for Life Style Sports behind host nation France, Portugal (helped by the Ronaldo effect!) and world champions Germany.
Poland’s success in the tournament so far has also seen their jersey sell out.
We are not a bitter bunch as, after the Ireland kit, the French jersey (both home and away) is the second highest selling for Life Style Sports, who have stocked all 24 competing countries’ jerseys.
The high French jersey sales are being attributed to the great design, France hosting the competition and their exciting players.
Outside of the Irish players, Pogba is currently the number one name for the back of children’s shirts.
