
Local drifter, Jack Shanahan, came out on top of Round 4 of this year’s Drift Masters, with the past weekend’s event leaving the village of Killavullen firmly etched in the minds of a sold-out Finnish crowd.
The action commenced at Finland’s Ahvenisto Race Circuit, a venue which is described as delivering the kind of atmosphere followers of the sport have come to expect from the Finnish rounds of the championship.
For Shanahan, it proved to be a long-awaited return to the top, as he overcame Lithuanian driver Benediktas Cirba in the final to claim a Drift Masters victory for the first time in three years.
