A 22 year-old man from Araglin who has just finished a 12 month Tús scheme in Mitchelstown, says he’d love to play a part in the construction and managing of a skateboard park in the town.

Jack Parsons Budd, who worked in a caretaker’s role for Mitchelstown Community Council, is passionate about skateboarding and spends most weekends travelling to Cork city where he gets to unwind and display his skills on the skateboard park with friends.

A former Rockwell College student, Jack will be known to Mitchelstown natives for the hard work and dedication he has shown to his role as caretaker since he filled the position last year.
