Jacinta taking the dive for suicide prevention

Fermoy-based Community health worker Jacinta McCormack, is taking the dive for Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland (YSPI) on Saturday, July 4.

Community health worker Jacinta McCormack based in Fermoy, is taking the dive for Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland (YSPI) on Saturday, July 4.

Ms McCormack has both professional and personal reasons for this this skydve. As a result of her work within the community over the past two years, she has seen first hand the significant importance around education and access to information and how it helps to break down the barriers around suicide.

With this in mind she came across some information online in relation to YSPI and she was very interested to see that Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland provides a number of educational training programmes which are specifically directed at senior cycle secondary school students . . .
