This ESB pole was left leaning dangerously by the piers at Church Hill, Mitchelstown on Wednesday evening following what The Avondhu understands to be an incident involving two cars.

Production Manager Declan joined The Avondhu in 1988 and came straight in to the company as a designer and compositer, in the days before on-screen page layout. After seeing many technological changes, and completing a City & Guilds design course, he took on the role of Production Manager and IT Manager, and has remained in this position to this day and loves the challenge of keeping the newspaper looking fresh and modern. In his spare time, Declan loves to get out and about taking landscape photographs.
