The Inches Walk in Fermoy is poised to reopen in the coming weeks following upgrade works.
The popular walkway was due to reopen before Christmas following work by the OPW, however delays were caused due to the recent flooding.
In an update last week, senior engineer Brendan O’Gorman said work is continuing and will be finished shortly. However, he said it is not advised to reopen the walk until the weather improves.
