The already impressive soccer facilty at Carrig Park in Fermoy has been enhanced significantly by a new Astroturf all weather training pitch. Constructed to exacting standards and extensively used by all age groups, it compares favourably with some of the best Astroturf surfaces in the country.
To mark this development, a high powered delegation, comprising current and former international players, will be in Fermoy on Wednesday, 15th August to perform the official tape cutting ceremony at 10.15am.
It’s an occasion officers, players and supporters are looking forward to and the event is open to all. Confirmed to attend are FAI President Tony Fitzgerald, and its high profile, CEO, John Delaney.
FAMILY FUN DAY
In advance of the official opening, Fermoy Soccer Club in association with the FAI’s Festival of Football, will host a Family Fun Day.
