On Wednesday evening, the 28th December, the people of Kilbehenny celebrated the 40th anniversary of the village's community centre.
Officially opened in 1976, the original building served locals well for almost 4 decades before undergoing a major redevelopment. This extended and refurbished facility is an amenity everyone is very proud of and this was reflected in the large attendance at the official rededication ceremony.
