Homeowner in the dark after collapsed building issues resolved

As the third anniversary of the collapse of 49 Upper Cork Street in Mitchelstown came and went earlier this month, one homeowner continues to be in the dark about access to her home.

Angela Riemensperger, the owner of No 51 Upper Cork Street, two doors down from the building that partially fell down in July 2021, spoke with The Avondhu to say that she has only been able to access her house once since the incident, at the time of which she was leasing the property to tenants.

While praising the work of her solicitor, Ms Riemensperger said that she has ‘no idea’ what the delay is in resolving the issues of her house.
