Hinchy’s have scooped the county-wide award for its commitment to promotion and sales of electric vehicles in Limerick.
The award which is administered by the SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) in partnership with ZEVI (Zero Emission Vehicles Ireland) reward dealerships that go above and beyond to increase consumer understanding and experience of EVs, while ensuring their uptake on Irish roads.
Hinchy’s win the award for the fourth time in recent times, having previously won the award in 2022, 2024, 2025 and are now again 2026 ZEVI dealer of the year.

There were 134 applications across 23 counties, and one business awarded per county. Car dealers competed through a mystery shopping exercise where they were scored on over six different categories. Hinchy’s received special acknowledgement for their salesperson knowledge and sales approach while achieving an overall score which exceeded the National average by over 20%.
