The Mitchelstown Tidy Towns group AROMA are calling on people to get involved in plans for what a future Mitchelstown could look like, as they are putting the wheels in motion for an overall planting plan for the approach roads and town centre.

The group are hoping that people from the town will join them for an informal walk of the town on Friday, July 5 and they welcome any ideas about how the overall impression of the town could be improved for those passing through and for those living or working here.

They will meet at the Lidl car park at 6.30pm on July 5 and anyone that has an interest in the future of Mitchelstown and its appearance is encouraged to come along and have their voice heard.

There will be refreshments afterwards in Mitchelstown Youth Cafe.
