In accordance with best health and safety practice for GAA games, all students from CBS Primary in Mitchelstown will now wear gum shields, the cost of which was generously subsidised by Reidy's SuperValu in Mitchelstown.

The school appreciates the continued efforts of the local juvenile club in helping the school to foster a Gaelic games ethos through the school's coaching scheme and Paul O'Callaghan is a huge asset to the school.

As well as this, the staff members also run in-house training sessions twice a week.

Alan Reidy and his team in SuperValu have always been great supporters of the CBS Primary over the years and their contribution towards the gum shields will help to protect the boy's smiles into the future.
