The 2013 Marymount Hospice Ball, a highlight in the Cork social calendar, happens this year on December 6. This year, attendees will be in with the chance to win some amazing prizes including a magnificent Rolex watch worth €9,000 courtesy of Keanes Jewellers, a night at the Opera with exclusive use of the Rolex Box at Covent Garden and tickets to the US Open courtesy of Heineken.

This is the seventh year of the Marymount Hospice Ball and to date over €550,000 has been raised to fund the new state-of–the art facility in Curaheen. This year’s ball takes place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Little Island.

CEO of Marymount Hospice, Kevin O’Dwyer explained why this fundraiser is critical to service provision: “We need to raise €1.5 million per annum to maintain our services and to repay loans. The Ball is one of our key fund-raising activities during the year, and once again we thank people in advance for their support.”
