St Patrick’s Athletic FC were the visitors to Carrig Park over the weekend as part of their pre-season campaign.
The visitors came away with the win in what was a great learning experience for our players.
The home side was made up of both seniors and juniors and the experience of playing against top class League of Ireland opposition will only benefit them.
Billy King grabbed a hattrick for the visitors as Ronan Hale, Robbie Benson and Lee Desmond also got on the scoresheet.

Congratulations to our U12 players Cian O’Callaghan and Ruairc Donovan who were both in action for Cork U12 representative sides over the weekend.
Cian lined out for Cork Athletic in their 2-1 win over Waterford and Ruairc played for Cork United in their 4-0 win over Limerick District United.
Both games were in the Schoolboys U12 FAI Munster championship.
