In a bid to further enhance the appearance of Glenville village, the local Tidy Towns group have decided to enter this year's 'Pride In The Community' competition which is held each year in June.

The entrance gates to Glenville Park is earmarked for major refurbishment. The committee point out that there is a lot of work to be done on the project but with a little community spirit and by working together, it can be achieved before the competition date.

This entrance is at one of the main junctions in the village so it should make a very good impression when the job is finished. While the focus now is on the project mentioned above, a clean-up has been called for Saturday morning at 11am, helpers are asked to meet outside the ball alley. So anyone with an hour or two to spare, are asked to please come along. Any help will be appreciated.
