Glenroe Harvest Festival bringing someone home for The Gathering

All entrants must have a link to the Glenroe area, be it sporting, cultural, through marriage or because they are from there.

The competition to bring someone home for this year’s Glenroe Harvest Festival has been extended until April 30 and people living abroad, who are eager to touch home soil again are encouraged to enter to be in with the chance of coming home in September to visit friends and family.

The prize is to the value of €2,000 and includes the flights or ferry and accommodation in the Ballyhoura Forest Homes in Ballyorgan, which sleeps six people.

The winner will be contacted in early May and must be available to travel home on September 7 and 8 and be in a position to attend The Gathering event at the harvest festival.

All entrants must have a link to the Glenroe area, be it sporting, cultural, through marriage or because they are from there.

A photograph and story of no more than 500 words about why the person should be brought home to Glenroe can be submitted by post to Glenroe GAA Club, Tully, Glenroe, Kilmallock, Co Limerick and the entry fee of €20 can be made payable by cheque or postal order to Glenroe GAA Club.
