Glanworth teenager Caroline Flynn has qualified for the Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne 2017, the World Irish Dancing Championships, to be held in Dublin next Easter after finishing fourth in the 18/19 age group at the Munster Championships last Sunday.
The 19-year-old, who is a dancer with the Michael Ryan School of Irish Dancing, will be one of six dancers from Munster to compete at the championships in the 18/19 age category.
Caroline has been dancing since the age of seven and competed at last year’s Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne in London, while she has also competed in Canada and Edinburgh in previous years.
A former student in Coláiste an Chraoibhín in Fermoy, Caroline is presently a second year student in Athlone Institute of Technology.
Well done to Caroline and best of luck in the World Championships next year.
