Style and glamour were the order of the night on Thursday last, as people flocked to the hall of Scoil Mhairtin for the first fashion show in aid of the Kilworth school.

Organised by the parents, the fashion show oozed elegance and sophistication, with decor provided by Franc, a wine reception, sweet cart and an array of high street fashion worn my local people as they strutted their stuff down the catwalk.

The show brought the best of both worlds together, as the outfits came from outlets in the Mahon Point Shopping Centre, while people could put an individual or unique flair to them by customising with bits and pieces from local boutiques and crafts people who had trade stands on the night.

From the casual outfit to the perfect head piece and that stunning outfit for the special occasion, the fashion show had it all.

Stylist Sharon Huggard also provided guests with some invaluable nuggets of wisdom that they are sure to call upon every time they go shopping. She had tips on how to dress for your shape, how to buy the perfect pair of jeans and what kind of colours and looks should be teamed together.

The event wouldn't have been possible without the support of those who attended, the people who sponsored the event, those who helped out behind the scenes and the people who provided raffle prizes.
