All set to jump for charity are, Laura Kenny (Kilworth), Aoife Ladd (Castletownroche) and Ciara Smyth (Kildorrery).

For most of us, jumping from a plane at 10,000ft would be out of the question but not for hree young ladies who are taking on the challenge to raise funds for their favourite charities - S.A.F.E. (Suicide Awareness For Everyone) and AWARE (Mental Health).

Laura Kenny from Kilworth, Aoife Ladd from Castletownroche and Ciara Smyth from Kildorrery, all members of Ballyhoura Macra are hoping to raise in excess of €2,000.

To this end, they are holding a fundraiser in the Spinning Wheel Castletownroche on June 28 with Dj Eric Griffin acting as MC on the night. Your support would be most welcome.
