Justin Green and Anthony Jackson, who own and manage Ballyvolane House Spirits Company, have recently begun to manufacture alcohol-based hand sanitiser in response to the Covid-19 health crisis.

Ballyvolane House Spirits Company has carved out a name for itself as a premium gin producer during the last five years.

It might come as somewhat of a surprise then, to find that they have entered the hand sanitiser business in a big way.

From their base in Castlelyons, in the heart of North Cork, founders Justin Green and Anthony Jackson have exported their gin, ‘Bertha’s Revenge’ to over 13 countries across the globe.

The switch to manufacturing alcohol hand sanitiser and disinfectant was brought about by Covid-19, which has forced countless businesses to follow unexplored paths.
