Gardaí seized cocaine and bundles of money when they swooped on two cars attached to alleged drug couriers driving on the M8 motorway near Fermoy on Tuesday.
Gardaí from the Divisional Roads Policing Unit in Fermoy stopped the cars and, after a search, found drugs worth €8,500 and €31,000 in cash hidden inside the vehicles.
They took two men from the scene at 1.30pm on Tuesday afternoon when a car was stopped at Strawhall.
