Gardaí, having been called to what the say were ‘pre-arranged fights between boys and girls as young as 12’, are asking parents to make sure they know where their children are and keep them out of trouble.
“They were alerted on Wednesday evening that children as young 12 had gathered for a fight amongst other schoolkids which had been pre-arranged.
“As well as the pre-arranged fights, it is understood that other incidents of anti-social behaviour also took place in the area.”
