Galbally support suicide prevention

Galbally Rugby Club are holding a ladies night in Ballykisteen Hotel on October 24 to raise funds for Pieta House.

Unfortunately, suicide is something which has touched many of our lives and it is in an area in which many people feel not only helpless, but also like they cannot do anything to help.

Galbally Rugby Club are aiming to change this, as they will be holding a ladies night in Ballykisteen Hotel on October 24 to raise funds for Pieta House.

Chairperson of the organising committee, Elaine Beston, spoke about a charity rugby match she attended earlier this year in Galbally, which raised €1,150 for Pieta House and the planning for the ladies night event began about four months ago.
