Galbally joy as ASD unit gets green light

A National School’s fight to help autistic children in its community has been a success as it has received funding for a dedicated unit. 

Galbally National School had received permission for an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classroom back in February but now funding has been granted to build the facility. 

Martin Kearney, school principal, has hailed the news as ‘a great step forward for the area and will continue to grow in its help of children with ASD’.
