Friars’ Gate Theatre Kilmallock have a very special show coming in next week entitled ‘Fred & Alice’.
A new play by John Sheehy, ‘Fred & Alice’ is an unusual love story, starring Cora Fenton (‘Deception’ TV3) and Ciaran Bermingham (‘Game Of Thrones’). It is a play about love and OCD. The two characters meet in a care home, fall in love and eventually move in together:
It was love at first sight for Alice. Fred didn’t talk to her again for years but then eventually Fred got used to her and it was love at first sight for him too. This is a quirky love story that will touch your heart and make you laugh; a joyous celebration of individuality.
The two actors, Cora Fenton and Ciaran Bermingham are both very much on the up and up. Should be well worth a visit. It runs on Thursday and Friday, january 31 and February 1.
