A man perfectly at home in the rarefied atmosphere of the Andes Mountain was back on home turf for a special celebration in Mitchelstown last Tuesday evening.
One of the ‘class of 69’, Fr Pat Hennessy was joined by family and friends for a concelebrated Mass which was followed by a very enjoyable social evening in Forrest Hall, Market Square, Mitchelstown.
From a family of 5 (May, Rose, Nell and Susan), Fr Pat was the first born of David and Bridie Hennessy. Boasting, Glenroe and Kanturk lineage, Fr Pat was reared and educated in Mitchelstown.
