The lovely local amenity that is St Colman’s Walk on Cork Road, Fermoy has become a dumping ground for bags of dog foul which has been a source of disgust and disappointment for many locals who walk in the area.
One man said that he counted 15 bags that had been thrown over the wire fencing and said that he reckoned there were even more bags after being thrown over the wall.
Dog walkers are asked to be more civic minded in this regard and to dispose of their bags of dog poo in an appropriate receptacle or to take it home and dispose of it there.
