The former Opel showroom on the Cork Road in Fermoy which is up for auction at the next Allsop event in the RDS in Dublin on Tuesday, December 10th.

The former Opel car showroom on the Cork Road in Fermoy is to be auctioned at Allsop's next event in Dublin on December 10th.

The premises has a reserve range of €195,000 to €225,000. Four buildings are included in the sale, the 6,000 sq ft showroom, the 4,066 sq ft parts and service building on the ground floor which extends to the first floor with a further 1,300 sq ft of space, an 1,800 sq ft office building and a bodyshop building of 2,400 sq ft.

John McCarthy Motors Ltd., a long established Fermoy family business, closed back in 2011.

The premises is available for viewing one last time before the auction, between 12noon and 1pm on Thursday next, December 5th. It's an open viewing so no appointment is required. The auction will take place at the RDS in Dublin.

A house in Glenabo Heights in Fermoy will also go under the hammer that day. The freehold five bedroom detached residence of some 1,800 sq ft has a reserve of €150,000.
