Little Jayden Browne may be only five months old, but he already has a house of his own! A Wendy house, that is. Jayden's name was drawn in the raffle for the house which was kindly donated by the Men's Shed, Fermoy to raise funds for two local groups, the Suicide Bereavement Network who run a monthly drop-in evening for people bereaved by suicide and the Blackwater Day Centre in Fermoy.

The total amount raised was €1,200 which was split between the two groups. Representatives of both extended sincere thanks to the Men's Shed for donating the lovely prize, to all the volunteers who sold lines and the public for their support of the event.

"We would like to wish Jayden many years of happiness and hope that this is only the beginning of his lucky streak," said Jacinta McCormack of the Suicide Bereavement Network, one of the organisers of the draw.

The monthly drop-in evening for those bereaved by suicide takes place at Fermoy Family Resource Centre on the first Monday of each month.
