Renowned textile artist Fiona Turley, extends a warm welcome to one and all to her Gallery Crafts studion in Kilworth on Sunday, November 2 to launch her Christmas range, which includes a bespoke range of 10 Christmas cards in aid of Breakthrough Cancer Research.

Get into the festive spirit and enjoy the wonderful creations from Irish designers such as Max Benjamin, Stephen Farnan, Alan Ardiff, Orla Kiely, Wild Goose, plus festive decorations, candles and much more. Gallery Crafts opens from 2-6pm with the official launch at 4:30pm, entertainment will be provided by local singer Sandra Gubbins and will include a a mulled wine reception.

If you can’t make it for the launch rest assured the cards will be available in store daily from 9am to 5pm and from 2pm to 6pm on Sundays. The cards will also be available in Fiona’s ‘Pop up’ shop in Fermoy town.

Speaking in advance of the launch Orla Dolan, Fundraising Director for Breakthrough Cancer Research said: “We are always so delighted when we see Fiona’s new designs for our Christmas cards. For the past 10 years, Fiona has been providing us with stunning designs free of charge. Over the years Fiona has helped us raise a staggering €220,000 which goes directly towards innovative research work into new treatments for cancer.

"We hope you will all join us at Gallery Crafts on November 2nd for the highlight of the Christmas calendar and help us and Fiona launch our Christmas cards. It will be a wonderful day out”.
