Fianna Fail party leader Michéal Martin will visit Fermoy on Monday, November 11th.

Fianna Fail party leader Michéal Martin will visit Fermoy on Monday next to gee up the troops for the local elections next year.

He'll be in town to attend a meeting of the Cork East Fianna Fail Dail Ceantair. The meeting is in the Grand Hotel at 8pm.

The party leader is said to be looking forward to meeting members from every corner of Cork east to discuss the party organisation and in particular the local elections next May.

Other issues of importance on the agenda to be discussed by him are the recent Budget and the consequences of the withdrawal of so many medical cards, the local property tax and water metering.
