Fermoy St Patrick’s Day Parade 2017

Once again, the St Patrick’s Day parade in Fermoy was a huge hit with all those who lined the streets in support of this annual celebration.

MC Kieran McGann was in fine voice and kept the crowd entertained for the full parade with his witty commentary.

Well done and hats off to the organisers for another memorable parade in Fermoy.

Production Manager Declan joined The Avondhu in 1988 and came straight in to the company as a designer and compositer, in the days before on-screen page layout. After seeing many technological changes, and completing a City & Guilds design course, he took on the role of Production Manager and IT Manager, and has remained in this position to this day and loves the challenge of keeping the newspaper looking fresh and modern. In his spare time, Declan loves to get out and about taking landscape photographs.
