Fermoy road bowler, Andrew O’Leary has kept his hold on the North East Region Cup for the sixth year in a row.
Now aged 60, Mr O’Leary secured the win on Sunday in Glenabo, Fermoy where he beat Timmy McDonagh in the final, taking the North East Region Junior Veteran’s title.
“I’m hoping to win the county and I’m hoping to go on and win the All-Ireland. I’ve been trying with a few years and it might be this year, you never know,” he said.
