It has been confirmed this week that maintenance work at Fermoy swimming pool has largely been completed, with the facility now on schedule to reopen at the end of the month.
Diane Finucane, Cork County Council informed councillors in attendance at Tuesday’s Fermoy Municipal District meeting in Cork.
Ms Finucane said that the faulty air handling unit had been replaced with new equipment and is now working.
There has been ducting fitted, while other works have also been completed, including some painting.
