This summer has seen Fermoy Tidy Towns busy planting up containers and beds in and around the town with the help of Avondhu Blackwater Partnership and Fermoy Town Council. As part of the project, Fermoy Tidy Towns ordered plants for 23 street containers that will continue to flower into the winter and also plants for a larger perennial planting scheme in a bed at Christchurch. The bed has been planted with prairie-style grasses and flowers that will bloom every year. However, they’d now welcome a little rain to bed the plants in!
