With the Corrin Event Centre, Fermoy packed to capacity on Friday night last, St Patrick’s Community Hospital, Fermoy Fundraising Association can be well pleased with the success of their major fundraiser, which featured a top class entertainment line-up. Topping the bill on the night was the ever popular Louise Morrissey, while dancing into the small hours was to the sound of Allegro.

Of course none of this would have been possible without the commitment and generous sponsorship given by David Ryan, Amber Service Station, Fermoy.

Grateful thanks must also go to association secretary, Sheena O’Brien, whose brainchild became a reality on Friday night. The hard work shown by her in organising the event was an inspiration to all within the association. Thanks also are expressed to the matron, Annette Clancy and assistant matron Paula Russell, again whose great effort ensured that the night was a great success.

SUPPORT

Ultimately, the significance of the event as a fundraiser would not have materialised but for all those who bought tickets and subsequently, supported the draw on the night.

Finally, thanks must be expressed to those who took to the stage – Louise Morrissey, her special guests Gary Gamble and The Ryan Turner Band, and as previously mentioned, Allegro who provided the music for dancing. This ensured that all who attended the event went home with very positive and happy memories, content in the knowledge that they were supporting a most worthy cause.
