The 2016 running of the Gain Mares Final was the centrepiece of last Sunday’s Ballynoe point to point meeting – run under the auspices of the local united hunt. Now in its 28th year the ‘Gain’ has a long standing association with Ballynoe and is a very prestigious race within the points calendar.
