Avondhu Blackwater Partnership, Fermoy, have announced the return of its successful and well-received Estate Enhancement project.

The project, which operated across a number of Fermoy estates in late 2014, brought stellar results, with commendations from residents, locals and councillors.

Under the estates clean-up project, a large group of skilled workers – working as part of the Tús Community Employment initiative – are assigned to the estates, with the twin aims of rejuvenation and enhancement.

The workers edge kerbs and boarders, work on gardening projects, landscape is locally desired, and remove unsightly weeds and excess litter. The development company is now calling for applicants from Fermoy-based residents’ associations and community groups who wish to be part of the clean up.

These services are offered free of charge. If you would like further information about the project, or would like to apply for inclusion, please contact Vincent on 025-33411 or vincent@avondhublackwater.com.
