Here is one of Mitchelstown’s most senior citizens enjoying the moment the town’s emergency services paid tribute the spritely octogenarian on her birthday.
Bridie Tattan turned 81-years-old last weekend and was all set for a big celebration, but then the Covid-19 lockdown got in the way.
So her family decided they would mark the occasion with some special visitors.
Ellen Fitzgibbon said: “She is still on a high I think. She was thrilled to bits. The smile on her face said it all – she was in great form and it was a real boost.
