Zeus Packaging, owned by Fermoy local Brian O’Sullivan, has announced this week a €15 million investment in Aldar Tissue, a Dublin-based tissue manufacturer.
In 2019, Zeus acquired Aldar Tissue as a part of a three-year €40 million acquisition strategy which concluded in February of this year.
Speaking with The Avondhu, the Fermoy local and CEO and founder of Zeus said that the new investment is an effort to keep jobs in Ireland.
“If we hadn’t bought Aldar Tissue two years ago, it would have left Ireland and we would have to import that product. The long and short of it is that I want to keep jobs in Ireland,” Brian said.
