St Patrick’s Community Hospital, Fermoy Fundraising Association have a great track record when it comes to organising table quizzes and they scored another notable success recently when they linked up with the recently opened Abbey Tavern in Castlelyons.
A great night was had by all the participants and proprietors, Shane and Rachel Hogan did a wonderful job hosting the event. The fact that Cork City College came on board as main sponsors was another huge boost. The association also wish to thank quizmaster, Jim Sheehan and everyone who gave prizes for the raffle.
The amount raised came to €1,260 which was a fantastic return. The Hogans handed over the proceeds to Sheena O’Brien and Margaret O’Flynn last Saturday night. Sheena and Margaret acknowledged the role of Shane and Rachel in making the night such a success.
