Mallow Rugby Football Club has emerged victorious following the final of the 2025 Bank of Ireland ‘Never Stop Competing’ challenge held at Thomond Park on Saturday, 11th January.
Mallow RFC, represented by Sam Glynn, Hunter Gowan and Emma Fitzgerald, overcame their opponents from Tralee RFC during the ‘Never Stop Competing’ shootout at half-time in Munster versus Saracens European Rugby Champions Cup match to claim the €10,000 prize for their club.
The challenge was open to rugby clubs from across Munster, with teams testing their skills under a high-ball in a series of challenges, culminating in the final which saw Mallow RFC claim the ultimate honours. Bank of Ireland Mallow branch manager, Cait Irwin, was on hand to present the winning team with their prize.

Bank of Ireland’s sponsorship of Munster Rugby aims to support the growth and development of the game from localschools and clubs all the way up tothemens and womensprovincial sides, so that every rugby player in Munster has the opportunity to #neverstopcompeting.
The challenge, which will also be played across the other provinces over the coming months, is the latest initiative by the bank supporting local rugby clubs as title sponsor of Munster Rugby.
Their sponsorship of Munster Rugby dates back to 1998, with a new deal recently announced stretching out to 2028 and marking 30 years of commitment to the game across all levels in Munster.
