County Cork's most popular tourist attraction is getting one step closer to full reopening as Doneraile Court opens its doors again this week.
Office of Public Works (OPW) attractions are part of a phased reopening in the coming weeks and, while Doneraile Park has been open since April, the indoor element of the historic site is now reopening on limited availability.
Staff at the visitor attraction were delighted to be reopening and anticipating a busy summer, Janey Schley, Head Guide at the stately home, said.
Restricted numbers due to distancing requirements mean that the tour is currently self-guided with a maximum capacity of four per group, and open a four-day week, from Thursday to Sunday.
