Six months after the terrible floods which the country experienced in June, an effected ditch in Araglin still remains untouched and is posing a grave danger to pedestrians and motorists, particularly for people who are unfamiliar with the road.
Cllr Frank O’Flynn recently raised this issue and asked Cork County Council to have the issue of the ditch looked into and he said that he hopes it will be done quickly, but for the moment it is merely fenced off. He said that it lies on a busy road and also a school bus route, so the issue needs to be addressed as soon as possible.
