Sixteen Dairygold employees have been awarded a Diploma in High Performance Leadership from the Irish Management Institute/University College Cork.

Sixteen Dairygold employees have been awarded a Diploma in High Performance Leadership from the Irish Management Institute/University College Cork.

The graduates are the first Dairygold staff to complete this bespoke and intensive programme which was designed as part of Dairygold’s continuous improvement and development programme, ‘Advance 2020’. A further sixteen staff are participating in the programme in the current academic year.

The diploma programme covers a range of specialist modules to provide leadership education and capability to grow the business forward, including; Strategic Leadership and Personal Performance, Strategy Development with a strong customer focus, Strategic Finance, Leading High Performance Teams, Developing Personal Impact and Coaching and Presentation skills.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Dairygold CEO Jim Woulfe said Dairygold is poised for substantial post quota milk expansion and is investing in the future growth of its dairy processing, agri-business and international marketing reach.

"In anticipation of this growth and expansion, Dairygold is developing its organisational capabilities and people talent, preparing future managers to respond to the challenges ahead."
