After successfully scaling the 1,808ft Trostan Mountain in Antrim last month, nine-year-old Dillon Lynch completed his epic journey of climbing the highest peaks in each of the 32 counties around the island of around Ireland.
The Kildorrery native is the youngest person to ever complete this adventure, making the achievement all the more special.
Dillon started his mission back in June 2015 by reaching Cork’s highest peak, the 2,316ft Knockboy Mountain, and continued his journey over the last 16 months.
He reached the summit of Ireland’s highest peak, the 3,409ft Carrauntoohil peak, which is part of the Macgillycuddy's Reeks range in Kerry, in August 2015.
