With the Irish general election only a matter of months away, students in St Colman’s College in Fermoy got a taste of the democratic process when they held their election campaign and polling day for their own long-running Student Council.

12 students were elected to the Student Council, which has been in existence many years in the school and operates to give students a voice on issues that concern them.
