Colour and excitement returned to the streets of Mitchelstown last Friday evening with the public turning out in force to support the Albany sponsored colour run.
In another encouraging sign that the country is emerging from the restraints of Covid-19, a large crowd of men, women and teenagers, took their places at the starting line for this 5km run, walk or jog through town.
The event was a big boost for the Carmelite Lourdes Fund, whose pilgrimage to the south of France takes place in late September this year.
