Giant Easter eggs created by the children at Curraghagalla National School, will be proudly on display in Mahon Point Shopping Centre, Cork following on from a competition entered by the school.

As the school closed for Easter holidays, the staff wanted to wish everyone a happy Easter and said that they had a very colourful float at the St Patrick's Day parade in Mitchelstown. The children who took part are all to be congratulated, while they particularly enjoyed hearing the traditional music by Anne and Katie Fogarty and Anne Marie King, who joined pupils Michaela and Aileen in a traditional session.

The pupils also presented Fr Michael Corkery with the proceeds from the raffle and shop for a donation to Trocaire.

The staff and pupils would also like to thank everyone who contributed to their recent clothing collection and all funds raised will go towards supporting the school development plan.
