Cork County Council have issued a stunning video of Mitchelstown on its social media channels.
The video shows the town in all its glory with a slick presentation including stunning visuals of the main streets, unique buildings and scenery.
Also, the town’s business people get a look in with happy faces as they begin the fight back against the Covid-19 enforced recession.
In their post on Facebook accompanying the video, Cork County Council said: “Come visit Mitchelstown in Ireland’s Ancient East. Situated between the Galtee and the Knockmealdown Mountains, Mitchelstown is surrounded by the spectacular beauty of the Blackwater Valley and is the ideal base from which to explore the wealth of activities on offer in the Munster Vales and Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Trail.”
It is all part of the local authority’s efforts under Project ACT initiative which was established to activate the local economy in response to the Covid-19 crisis.
